William R. Phillips, MD, MPH
Bill Phillips is a family doctor in Seattle. For 20 years he provided the full spectrum of care to his patients in private practice. He has a record of scholarly work and academic leadership in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Washington, where he now serves as the Theodore J. Phillips Endowed Professor in Family Medicine. He is a founding member of the editorial team of the Annals of Family Medicine. He is also a Clinical Professor in the Department of Health Services at the UW School of Public Health. Dr. Phillips is a physician, educator, leader, researcher and writer. He is also a husband, father and grandpa. He lives in Seattle where his family has been for five generations. He and his wife have traveled the world but always return to the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
