William R. Phillips, MD, MPH
Bill Phillips is a family doctor in Seattle. For 20 years he provided the full spectrum of care to his patients in private practice. He has a record of scholarly work and academic leadership in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Washington, where served as the Theodore J. Phillips Endowed Professor in Family Medicine. He was also a Clinical Professor in the Department of Health Services and the Department of Epidemiology at the UW School of Public Health. He was a founding member of the editorial team of the Annals of Family Medicine and a member of the United States Preventive Services Task Force. Dr. Phillips is a physician, educator, leader, researcher and writer. He is also a husband, father and grandpa. He lives in the Seattle area where his family has been for five generations. He and his wife have traveled the world but always return to the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
